Terms of Service

This is a developer draft, not legal advice. AnnexVTT is run by a solo developer at present; these terms will be reviewed by counsel before the service is opened to the wider public. If anything below is ambiguous in the meantime, email [email protected].

By creating an account at annexvtt.com, you agree to the terms below. AnnexVTT (“the Service”) is provided as-is. We’re a small project and these terms reflect that.

Your account

You’re responsible for what you do with your account and for keeping your password reasonably secure. If you suspect your account has been used by someone else, sign out of every device from Settings and change your password.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
  • Store or share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Run automated scraping, denial-of-service traffic, or any other abuse against our infrastructure.
  • Attempt to compromise the security of the Service or other users’ accounts.

Your content

You own the boards, items, images, and notes you create. We store them so you can use them; we don’t use them for any other purpose. You can export everything from Settings → Your data at any time.

Termination

You can delete your account from Settings → Danger zone. Deletion is immediate and removes every board where you are the only member. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; we’ll usually email you first when possible.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is.” We aim to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee zero downtime or zero data loss. Export your data periodically if it matters to you.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months — which, for the free plan, is zero.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
